Can you fix Remington non warranty firearms?
Yes, we do warranty & non warranty work for Remington Arms. We also do any and all makes and models of firearms.
Can you tell me over the phone what it is going to cost to fix my gun?
Without seeing the firearm, it is difficult to give an estimate of repair. We need to see the firearm. Remember that the final cost will also include a test fire, shipping, handling, insurance, and sales tax on New York residents.
Do I have to send in the whole gun?
Yes, we need the entire firearm so it can be safety and function checked and test fired when the work is completed. We cannot guarantee any repair made to a partial firearm.
Do you fix old military guns?
Yes, we do any and all makes and models of firearms.
Can you build custom rifles for bench rest, hunting, sporting, etc?
Yes, we can build custom rifles to each individual specifications.
Can I ship you my firearm or do I need a dealer?
Yes, an individual can ship a long gun directly to us without using a dealer via UPS, USPS & Fed Ex.
Do you take transfers fom the Internet?
Yes, there is a transfer fee per firearm and a FFL or drivers license from the seller is needed.
Does the gunworks sell firearms?
Yes, we sell new and used firearms. Contact us for further details.
Do you do firearm appraisals for individuals or insurance claims?
Yes, for a fee each firearm comes with a data sheet, with either information on the firearm for appraisal or a restoration estimate for insurance claims. If firearm is repaired by the Gunworks the fee will be applied to the repair bill.
